Parrying Shield
Parrying shield is a general term for a small shield, usually fist-sized, with a some offensive capability such as spikes protuding from the edge of the shield or a spiked umbo. The madu is an excellent example of a parrying shield from India. In the west, the spikes would likely be made of steel.
