Pelian Spear

The Pelian Spear is an object from Greek mythology said to be forged by Hephaestus.

At the marriage of Peleus and Thetis, the gods gathered together on Pelion to feast and brought Peleus gifts. Kheiron gave him a stout ashen shaft which he had cut for a spear, and Athena, it is said, polished it, and Hephaistos fitted it with a head.

Peleus also received a sword and a suit of armor, which were all passed down to his son, Achilles, who fought with such ferocity during the siege of Troy. He killed Hector with the spear, and it is sometimes called the Spear of Achilles.
