Gleipnir
In Norse mythology, Gleipnir is the magical binding used to chain the wolf Fenrir. Although appearing thin and fragile, it is actually stronger than any iron chain. It was created by the dwarves using the footstep of a cat; the roots of a mountain; a woman's beard; the breath of a fish; the sinews of a bear; and a bird's spittle. The Gleipnir is why those things no longer exist in the world today.
