Bec De Corbin
Time Period: 15th century
Location: France
Common Construction: Wooden haft with steel head
Bec de corbin is French for "Crow's Beak". It is very similar to the lucerne hammer except the side opposite the hammer has a beak shaped spike similar to a crowbill, hence the name. Unlike the lucerne hammer the spike was the primary method of attack and the hammer was secondary.
