Locking Gauntlet (also known as the Forbidden Gauntlet)

The locking gauntlet is a variation of the traditional steel gauntlet that prevents the wearer from dropping his weapon or otherwise becoming disarmed. This useful piece of armor was also known as the Forbidden Gauntlet because it was banned from tournament use and anyone caught using it would forfeit their prize.
