I would also like to thank Bdog and Jimmeh for helping with the site, it looks really great. Personally, I think the new site needs some new swords, so here you go:
Broadsword
Kopis
Schiavona
Scimitar
Sica

| Just one lonely update this week, the Heater. I'm still swamped at work, but more updates will come soon. |

Updates for today:
Crossbow
Katana
Langseax
Mace
Wakizashi
I feel a little silly writing a few paragraphs in an attempt to cover weapons that span thousands of years of history and are covered in countless works of literature. But hey, if you've lived under a rock for the last 14,000 years, these should get you up to speed.

I normally work with just a pencil and paper, but today I tried a few sketches with ink. I had some limited success, but the fact that I can't erase my mistakes just makes it a poor use of my time.
There's an article on Splint Mail (with an awful picture) and I updated the image for the existing Hauberk article (with a much better picture). I should have a few more up later this week, time permitting. I also have two pencil drawings, the Ahlspiess and the Burgonet.

Just one entry, the Zul Fikar. Or is it the Zulfaghar? Or the Dhul Faqar? The answer is yes, plus many more.

It looks like we will have a contributing artist, which will allow me to write the articles without having to also draw the items. Things should go much much faster in the future if everything works out.
Here are some more historical items:
Barbute
Close Helm
And some more mythological items:
Bodkin

| A clean dungeon is a happy dungeon, and I welcome you to the encyclopedia of arms and armor, mythology and fantasy. It's going to be a long process of researching and posting articles to the site, but hopefully we'll both enjoy the ride. Your instruction begins with the Scramasax. |
