The Coat of Padarn is one of the Thirteen Treasures of the Island of Britain. Only a well-born man could wear the coat, all others would discover that it wouldn't fit them. It bears similarity to other mythological items such as the Mantle of Tegau Eurfron and the Cauldron of Dyrnwch in the fact that it could distinguish a virtuous person from one without any redeeming qualities. It is called Pais Badarn Beisrydd in the original Welsh.
