Greenwich Armor

Greenwich armor is named after the Royal Workshops set up in Greenwich England by King Henry VIII in 1514. The king employed many talented armorers including Hans Holbein the Younger and many suits of armor were made for King Henry and the members of his court. The earliest surviving piece was made in 1527.
