Babr-e Bayan

Babre Bayan is a general term for tiger skins, which were very popular in Persia and Iran. In the Persian national epic, Shahnameh ("The Book of Kings"), the hero Rostam (or Rustam) possesses a special tigerskin called Babr-e Bayan which he wears in lieu of traditional armor.
