Round Shield
Round shield is a general term for circular European shields. This would typically include shields like the buckler, targe, and possibly rondache. There are many other types of circular shields such as the aspis and viking shield, but the modern connotation of the round shield sometimes has the implication of a smaller shield rather than something for full body protection.
